Description
A thick and fragrant sauce (with a kick!). The Satay Sauce is gluten free, dairy free, egg free and vegan.
The recipe first came from West Java in Indonesia and was passed down through the Eighteen Thousand Islands family via their family barbecues, which involved an endless supply of chicken, lamb, prawn and tofu skewers ready to be smothered with the famous satay sauce.
Heat it gently and spread it over your bbq'd meats and veggies, toss it through a stir-fry or use it straight out of the jar as a dip.
