Description
Dried masa flour is made by treating white/blue corn kernels with lime and grinding it into a fine paste before drying it. Treating the corn with lime increases it’s nutritional value, improves the flavour and aroma as well as reducing mycotoxins (fungus).
This traditional flour used to make tortillas, enchiladas, tamales, gorditas as well as thickening soups.
