Dried Mallow Flowers

Native to the Mediterranean the mallow flower can vary in colour from blue to purple. They have a mild floral aroma and a sweet citrus like flavour. Use them as a natural dye, for decoration on or in food, as an infusion in creams, custards and jellies, or as a tea or tonic.

Can also be used to thicken soups and stews. Mallow flowers are an astringent herb that can be anti-inflammatory and Antibacterial.
