Description
Produced in the Escuminac region of Quebec. The unique location of the sugarwood which is located less than 5 km from the sea, is swept by the salty air of the Gulf of St. Lawrence which gives a subtle saltiness to the syrups. Bottled from the Main Harvest of the season, this syrup has a rich amber colour and smooth and richly flavoured taste and aroma. Its aromatic profile brings to mind warm buttered brown sugar, date purée, English toffee and green anise with a subtle hint of curry.
