Dried Guajillo Chile

Guajillo chiles are the dried version of is the Mirasol chiles. They have a deep red-brown colour and smooth skin with a sweet flavour slightly reminiscent of sherry with a medium to hot heat. Use them in all your traditional preparations like salsa’s, chilate, sauces and marinades.

They can be used dried as a seasoning and spice or rehydrate them in warm water for 15mins to make a chile paste.
