Description
Mulato chiles are the dried version of green Poblano chiles. Dried Mulato chiles have a dark brown colour with a medium thick skin. They are sweet with hints of smoky chocolate, liquorice, cherries and coffee with a very mild to medium heat. Use them in all your traditional preparations like salsa’s, nacho's, sauces and marinades.
They can be used dried as a seasoning and spice or rehydrate them in warm water for 15mins to make a chile paste.
